Consultant Haematologist; LW

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and supportive team of four Consultant Haematologists in NHS Fife. This full-time post is a replacement position within a well-established service that delivers Level 2b care, with a strong focus on malignant haematology. The department is committed to high-quality patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuous service development.

Fife, with a population of approximately 360,000, offers a blend of scenic beauty, rich history, and modern amenities. Located just 15 miles from Edinburgh, the area benefits from excellent transport links including road, rail, and air, making it an ideal place to live and work.

Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded.

Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training to Non-UK Applicants must demonstrate that they have the knowledge, skills and experience required for practising as an eligible specialist in the UK.
