Position: Consultant Haematologist (LW)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and supportive team of four Consultant Haematologists in NHS Fife. This full‑time post is a replacement position within a well‑established service that delivers Level 2b care, with a strong focus on malignant haematology. The department is committed to high‑quality patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuous service development.

Fife, with a population of approximately 360,000, offers a blend of scenic beauty, rich history, and modern amenities. Located just 15 miles from Edinburgh, the area benefits letrasistrial transport links including road, rail, and air, making it an ideal place to live and work.

Qualifications
  • Full GMC Registration, a licence to practice, and eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
  • UK‑trained doctors should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within six months of confirmed entry from the date of interview.
  • Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once the route has been awarded.
  • Non‑UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training and the knowledge, skills and experience required for practising as an eligible specialist in the UK.
