Locum Specialty Doctor in Respiratory; LW
We are seeking a full time Speciality Doctor in Respiratory Medicine to join us in providing high quality respiratory care for the people of Fife, working within an enthusiastic and progressive team.
Applicants must have full MRCP(UK) or equivalent. In addition they must have completed at least four years full time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part-time basis) in relevant specialties or have equivalent experience and competencies and have completed at least one year working within the NHS.
The post attracts 10 sessions (9
DCC and 1
SPA). You will work alongside a team of 9 respiratory consultants performing ward rounds on the respiratory unit, general respiratory clinics and lung cancer clinics. There may also be opportunities for other sub speciality clinics and procedures.
Speciality Doctors work alongside trainees from the South East Scotland training rotation. The successful candidate will be allocated an Educational Supervisor to support them in their ongoing training and facilitate appropriate training opportunities tailored to the individual’s interests and training needs.
