Two main hubs of RxDx are located at Whitefield and Malleswaram, with peripheral branches in Kadugodi and Siddapura. In 2023, we expanded with two new centres, one on the bustling Srjapur Road, Dommasandra Circle and another in the Diamond District, Domlur. In 2024, we expanded our presence in North Bengaluru by inaugurating our newest flagship clinic in Jakkur.
The same year, we set up our first apartment clinic, RxDx Alpine Eco. Including corporate tie-ups, RxDx now operates around 30 medical centres across Bangalore.
Job SummaryThe General Physician will provide high-quality medical care to patients through in-person consultations and telemedicine (audio/video calls) as needed. The role involves diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions, prescribing medications, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. The physician will collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. At RxDx, our general physicians cultivate long-term relationships with patients, ensuring continuity of care, well-coordinated specialist treatments, and an emphasis on preventive healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, reviewing medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Perform physical examinations and ask situation-specific questions to formulate treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications with appropriate dosage and provide administration instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) for all patients.
- Provide guidance on preventive healthcare, including diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
- Assist in managing chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory diseases.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for patients requiring specialist care, ensuring treatments from multiple specialists are well-integrated.
- Handle medical emergencies and stabilize critical patients before referring them to specialists.
- Follow up on patient progress and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Participate in medical training and professional development programs.
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation for legal compliance, insurance claims, and audits.
- Adhere to workplace expectations, including shift schedules, weekend duties, or night shifts as required.
- Uphold the principles of patient-centered care, ensuring medical services are provided in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, including Service Expansion, Product Development, User Research, Public Relations, Marketing, and IT, to enhance community and public health initiatives.
- Engage in public health initiatives such as vaccinations, screenings, and awareness programs.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
MBBS from a recognized Indian institution.
Valid registration with a State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
3-5 years of clinical practice experience in primary care, general medicine, or a related field.
