We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join a thriving and high-achieving secondary school community from January 2026. What You’ll Be Doing- Teach Biology across KS3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Combined Science where appropriate.
- Deliver engaging, practical, and thought-provoking lessons that spark curiosity about the natural world.
- Use effective assessment to inform teaching and support all students to make excellent progress.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of an innovative, knowledge-rich Science curriculum.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives, enrichment clubs, and curriculum development projects.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has strong subject expertise in Biology.
- Is enthusiastic, creative, and committed to inspiring a lifelong love of science in young people.
- Can demonstrate effective classroom management and a reflective, collaborative approach to teaching.
- Values inclusion and is keen to contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
