Working hours
: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (working days to be confirmed / Flexible).
We are looking for 2 personal assistants to support a 40‑year‑old female who would like help getting out and about and maintaining her independence. Our client has a visual impairment in both eyes and cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs, and uses a variety of mobility equipment when out and about. This role will assist her day‑to‑day, including changes at swimming pools, appointments, cooking, light housework and light personal care.
Our client is independent, and supporting her independence is the main function of this role. RNIB Training can also be made available to successful candidates. Driver essential.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Experience in this area would be beneficial. This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
Duties & Responsibilities- Assistance with light personal care
- Assistance with light housework
- Assistance in the house and support to go out and about in the community
