Content Strategist / Content Designer (Contract)
Location: UK – Remote
Contract Duration: 12 months
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
We are supporting a global consumer technology organization with a strong footprint across social platforms, digital products, and enterprise tools. The business is seeking an experienced Content Strategist / Content Designer to join its Help Center Content Team on a 12-month contract, covering a period of staff leave.
This role focuses on creating scaled, user-first help and support content for a large enterprise product suite used by businesses and professional customers worldwide.
The RoleYou will work within a highly collaborative, experienced content team that partners closely with product, legal, policy, marketing, and engineering stakeholders
. The focus is on helping users self-serve, understand products, and get the most value from complex digital tools.
This is a hands-on role combining content strategy, writing, editing, optimization, and performance analysis
.
- Create and maintain help and support content for enterprise-level digital products
- Translate complex product, technical, and policy information into clear, jargon-free content aligned to brand voice
- Support new product launches by delivering accurate, user-centric documentation
- Manage multiple content projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Work through an internal ticketing and intake system to manage content requests
- Collaborate with legal, policy, and product teams to ensure content readiness and compliance
- Publish and QA content within content management systems
- Analyze content performance using data, metrics, and user feedback to continuously optimise and improve user experience
- 3+ years’ professional writing experience
, ideally within: - Help & support content
- Technical writing
- Editorial QA
- Online operations within a tech environment
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Proven experience working cross-functionally in large organisations
- Experience in a large technology or SaaS organisation
- Familiarity with analytics, SEO, and content optimisation techniques
- XML or structured content experience
- Background working on consumer-facing or enterprise digital products
Experience from large tech platforms, SaaS products, or digital government services is highly desirable.
