We are a small, dynamic legal firm dedicated to delivering personalised legal services to our clients with integrity and compassion. Our team takes pride in providing high-quality advice and support across multiple areas of law, with a strong emphasis on family law. We are looking to expand our team with a highly skilled Consultant Family Law Specialist Solicitor and Mediator who shares our commitment to excellence and client-focused service.

Role Description

This is a remote role for a Consultant Family Law Solicitor. The Consultant Family Law Solicitor will be responsible for managing client cases, representing clients in family law matters, providing legal advice, and possibly conducting mediation sessions (if accredited). Daily tasks also include preparing legal documents, attending remote court hearings, and liaising with other relevant parties and organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial agreements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Provide clear, pragmatic, and empathetic legal advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in court and at mediation when required.
  • Manage client expectations and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law developments and ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with our legal team and provide mentorship as needed.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Solicitor with a strong background in Family Law.
  • Minimum of 7 years PQE (post-qualification experience) in family law.
  • Proven ability to handle a complex family law caseload independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centred approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality legal work.
  • Flexibility to work on a consultancy basis with self-motivation and time management skills.
