As the Global Director of Residences, you lead the strategic vision and operational excellence for residential portfolios across multiple regions, ensuring an uncompromising standard of luxury, personalized service, and asset value. The strategic focus of the role is to drive the Dorchester Collection brand equity through brand extension opportunities and widening the network of global network of Dorchester Collection guests. What you'll do
  • You will define, evolve, and oversee the execution of the Dorchester Collection’s best in class global residences strategy and programme.
  • You will be the global resident journey ambassador and ensure our guest-centric approach is embedded in our residences operations.
  • You’ll introduce new and creative initiatives to set Dorchester Collection apart from competitors.
  • In collaboration with key internal stakeholders, such as the hotel General Managers, Global Director of Guest Experience, and Global Recognition and Relationship Manager, you will ensure seamless experience of our guests across the hotels and residences.
  • You will support the Development Team in initiatives aimed at growing the residences portfolio, including involvement in initial stages of new projects.
  • You will develop Dorchester Collection brand standards for residences and ensure implementation and adherence.
  • You will ensure the highest resident satisfaction and oversee the other residences key performance indicators.
  • You’ll oversee regular reporting of the financial and operational performance of the Residences to both internal and external stakeholders ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • You’ll manage the relationships across multiple asset managers and developers whilst representing Dorchester Collection, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  • You will deliver all pre-opening requirements for new residences in accordance to budget and timeline specifications.
  • You’ll ensure consistent operational practices across all locations.
  • You’ll review yearly expenditure budgets including service charge and operational cost expenses with Residence Directors & asset managers/developers.
  • You’ll ensure compliance with all relevant local legislation and oversee governing documents per location.
  • You’ll ensure fire, life, health, security and safety protocols for residents and employees are implemented in all locations.
  • You will ensure technical and maintenance obligations are fulfilled in accordance with the individual residence agreements.
