Reporting to the Manufacturing Division Manager, the Operations Manager - Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the Fabrication, Assembly, Fitting, Machine Shop and Maintenance departments.

This role ensures the timely delivery of manufacturing projects while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity and budget control. The Operations Manager - Manufacturing will manage a team of Charge hands and work closely with the Manufacturing Planner, Project Team and supply chain to coordinate activities, allocate resources, monitor budget and ensure that maintenance is undertaken as needed to meet production requirements.

As a part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll become part of a hardworking, and skilled team who are always working to high standards and specifications. You will be supported by our Manufacturing Division Manager and have a team of skilled team mates working alongside you, whose goal, much like your own, will be to enable a quick and safe turn-around of equipment.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the team of Charge hands and Team Leads, ensuring clear communication of expectations and fostering a positive work environment.
• Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
• To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.

• Ensure that manufacturing operations adhere to environmental regulations and company sustainability goals.
• Promote environmentally responsible practices, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and proper disposal of hazardous materials, to minimise the environmental impact of production activities.
