Job Overview

A vacancy has arisen within Ward 31 Planned Care for a 1st level trained nurse. The successful candidate will join a motivated and dynamic multi disciplinary team dedicated to delivering the highest level of care. The role is based in Ward 31, a busy orthopaedic hip fracture ward.

The nurse will provide patient care on Ward 31, working in an orthopaedic hip fracture setting and rotating across dayshift, night shift and twilight shifts.

• 1st level trained nurse
• Good team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in orthopaedic nursing
• Experience in acute nursing desirable but not essential
• Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment
