This clinically-based Lecturer in Farm Animal Health and Production position at the RDSVS offers:
- Working within the Dairy Herd Health and Productivity Service, a small and friendly established team within the RDSVS Farm Animal Division
- Diverse daily work focusing on referral level farm clinical work, teaching and opportunities for research. This includes interpretation of metabolic blood results from farms all over the UK, taking vet students out on farm, and being involved with industry projects.
- Work with all aspects of the farming industry including farmers, vets and agricultural consultants
- Candidate should have a solid foundation in dairy, beef and sheep first opinion veterinary work, and be keen to develop their farm animal expertise especially in nutrition
- Applicants who wish to retain aspects of their existing clinical or consultancy work will be considered
- 8 weeks paid holiday per year.
- Starting salary £50,253 - £61,759 (UoE Grade
8) with opportunity for progression. This post is also currently eligible for a 10% Market Force Supplement on top of the quoted salary - Opportunities for professional development around your interests in a clinical specialism or One Health disciplines.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly vet with mixed practice or farm animal experience. No additional qualifications or previous teaching experience are required.
