Job Overview
The client, a leading packaging company based in Kirkcaldy, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join the team.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, responsibilities include safely and efficiently operating counterbalance and articulated forklifts to support daily warehouse activities and other ad‑hoc duties.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and operate both counterbalance and articulated forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct routine pre‑ and post‑operational checks on forklift equipment
- Load and unload materials onto and from vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Safely stack and secure items in designated warehouse areas
- Collaborate with team members to fulfil general warehouse tasks as needed
- Perform any additional duties required by management
- Proven forklift experience in a warehouse environment
- Counterbalance forklift licence (minimum)
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to ensure orders are placed on time
Salary: around £30,000 (DOE) plus excellent benefits.
Working hours:
Monday through Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
