  35 hours per week
• Hourly wage: £12.99
• Pays PVG check, pension, uniform provided
• Annual leave: 5.6 weeks (based on a full-time contract)

As Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and comfortable at all times. This is a hands-on and varied role where your practical skills and attention to detail will have a direct impact on the environment and daily experience. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, basic electrical checks, installations and general upkeep.

You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, responding promptly to issues and supporting planned maintenance. You will work independently and with the wider team, following health and safety procedures, supporting compliance checks and helping maintain a well-organised, safe and welcoming environment.

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• A proactive and practical approach
• Reliable, organised and able to problem solve
