We are looking for an entry level cost estimator to join our team in Kirkland, WA. In this role you will work closely with project managers to develop cost estimates for construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in the construction industry or entering the field of cost estimating. On‑the‑job training will help you gain hands‑on experience and skills in construction cost estimating.

• Review blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to determine material and labor requirements for projects.
• Estimate costs for materials, equipment, and labor, including identifying quantity take‑offs.
• Use cost estimating software and techniques to create detailed cost models and estimates.
• Conduct market research to determine pricing for materials, labor, and other project costs.
• Compare estimates to actual costs once projects are completed to improve future estimating accuracy.
• Clearly communicate estimates and assumptions to project stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough records of cost estimates and supporting documentation.

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials, labor, contracts, and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cost estimating software.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and math skills.
  
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.

We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth. This is a temporary 3‑6 month position with potential to become full‑time.
