Position SummaryThe Concurrent Credit (CC) Manger’s responsibilities include the initial research and recommendation for approval of CC partner high schools, their instructors, and their courses. The lead coordinates and oversees the preparation for student application and registration each semester. The lead works with partner schools to submit grades and coordinates efforts with the Registrar’s office. The Lead oversees the academic quality of the program, in coordination with the respective academic deans and faculty and COEE director.
The Lead acts as the direct liaison between the University and CC Partners. The lead is also responsible for the accreditation process with the state of Washington and the NACEP.
Oversee all partner relations with CC partners. This includes onboarding new partners, review of courses, instructors, and program support.
- Manage course and instructor approval process in collaboration with deans/director/Provost.
- Coordinate student applications and registrations with Admissions and Registrar Offices.
- Facilitate and lead instructor training in collaboration with the respective university faculty and deans.
- Conduct visits, instructor evaluations and assessments with the partner schools and the appropriate colleges and departments at NU.*
- Serve as the primary liaison between CC partners and NU.
Manage the NACEP accreditation process in collaboration with deans, COEE Director, and Provost.
Maintain accurate program records as a backup and support to those of the Admissions and Registrar Offices.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills- Familiarity with state and accreditation agency requirements for concurrent credit programs.
- Expertise with university academic courses and course approval processes.
- Familiarity with K-12 educational systems and regulations.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment free of harassment, violence, and unlawful discrimination.
- Ability to communicate effectively, get along well with co-workers, and deal effectively and professionally with colleagues.
- Work is generally performed indoors in a typical office setting.
- Travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
- Position works with strictly confidential information.
The functions are usually performed while standing, but may involve some amount of time sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting (max. of 40 lbs.), walking, carrying, reaching, stretching, climbing, perform repetitive motions of the hands or wrists and other movements. The abilities of seeing, hearing and speaking are also required.
CompensationBased on education and experience, the position has a hiring range of $24.50/hour to $26.75/hour plus excellent benefits.
