Senior Account Manager at The Judge Group
Judge Direct Placement is working with a manufacturer in the Kirkland, WA seeking a results-oriented1 Facility Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and proven success in capital project management
. This role ensures the optimal performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our critical facility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities- Capital Project Leadership: Lead and manage all capital expenditure (Cap Ex) projects for facility infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, energy efficiency). Define scope, develop budgets/timelines, secure bids, manage contractors, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget project delivery and commissioning.
- Facility Operations & Reliability: Oversee the proactive maintenance, repair, and reliable operation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and structural systems. Develop and manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to maximize equipment uptime.
- Vendor & Compliance Management: Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors. Ensure all operations and projects strictly adhere to local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and environmental standards.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance for complex system troubleshooting and support the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) team.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is required
. - Experience: Minimum 5 years in facility, plant, or infrastructure engineering.
- Project Expertise:
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple capital projects from design and budgeting through construction and closeout. - Technical Knowledge: Strong technical proficiency with critical building systems (HVAC, fire suppression, power distribution, chillers, boilers).
- Preferred: PE license, PMP, or related certifications (e.g., CEM); experience with a CMMS.
