Wage Range: $103,189 - $165,090 per year

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education, and internal equity.

Job Summary:

Manages the day-to-day operations and profit and loss of more than one clinic facility, including physicians/staff management, patient scheduling, patient flow, medical records, patient accounting, supply ordering, and complaint resolution. The position must meet at least three of the following five criteria:

  • Managerial oversight of three or more multispecialty clinics
  • Two or more separate clinic locations requiring travel by vehicle
  • Operational supervision with >15 Providers and/or >30 direct reports
  • Facility site management, including offsite building management
  • Management of other onsite ancillary services, possibly including surgical or inpatient services

Primary Duties:

  • Achieves budgeted expenses and revenue on a monthly and annual basis for each clinic. Develops revenue and expense projections for multiple departments and capital budgets according to Evergreen Health guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with Evergreen Health policies and all regulatory agencies (OSHA, JC, Medicare, HIPAA, etc.). Responsible for the accuracy, security, and timeliness of patient medical records.
  • Ensures staff are trained in PMSI use and EMR processes and procedures.
  • Collaborates on the development and promotion of a continuous quality improvement culture, overseeing projects from design to completion.
  • Monitors CQI indicators, collects data, and reports findings.
  • Works with physicians to ensure clinics operate at peak efficiency.
  • Coordinates with primary care and specialty managers for seamless referral processes.
  • Develops and implements strategies to improve patient satisfaction across clinics.
  • Oversees and strategizes revenue cycle management.
  • Monitors labor productivity and is accountable for clinic KPIs aligned with organizational budgets and performance targets.
  • Develops growth strategies for multiple specialties and clinics in alignment with Evergreen Health priorities.

  • License, Certification, Education, or

    Experience:

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, clinical area, or equivalent experience
    • 4 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical clinic

    Desired:

    • Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MHA)
    • Experience managing multi-dimensional or multiple medical clinics
    • Training in Lean or Six Sigma
    • Project and change management experience
