Overview
Wyze is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to safeguard our systems, networks, and data. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security measures, monitor threats, and respond to incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Binary exploitation
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures for Wyze’s Smart Products.
- Threat modeling for hardware products; create SBOM for firmware; pentest IoT smart devices and cameras.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and relevant regulations.
- Work closely with software developers, Dev Ops engineers, and IT teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations to improve our security posture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, emphasizing embedded systems, network, and application security.
- Experience in security assessment and penetration testing on camera devices and web applications.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM solutions, and more.
- Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, OSED, OSEE are preferred.
- Experience with data management and query optimization in Snowflake.
- Experience in IoT embedded exploit research and manual static code analysis review.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
Hybrid: three days a week in the office and two days a week remote for employees based in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan area.

- Pay: $140,000 - $220,000 per year
