- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in internal communications, executive communications, or a related field.
- Experience developing and executing internal communications.
- 5 years of experience managing cross‑function or cross‑team projects.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company.
Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Privacy, Safety, and Security (PSS) organization is accountable for driving Google’s privacy, safety, and security outcomes. The team’s mission is to keep users safe as a pillar within the Core organization. In this role, you will lead executive‑level strategic communications and engagement initiatives within the PSS organization. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering clear, consistent, and engaging communications for leaders that foster a shared understanding of PSS’s ideas, strategy, and impact across the organization.
You will not only craft compelling narratives and execute communication plans but also drive key organizational initiatives, partnering with PSS’s top executives across engineering, product, and program management.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $147,000‑$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
