Leveraging our 35-year foundation of compiling direct mail-grade datasets, Deep Sync develops data-first technologies that power marketing, measurement, AI, and business intelligence for agencies and brands with our fully deterministic identity graph, privacy-first audiences, comprehensive data solutions, and integrations with leading platforms and cloud providers.

Position Overview

The Senior CRM & Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role at Deep Sync by leading the administration, optimization, and strategic utilization of our Hub Spot CRM platform while developing business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.

This hybrid role combines CRM administration, business intelligence, data analytics, and cross-functional business strategy. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions, develop actionable insights, and independently execute projects from concept through implementation.

As a lean, evolving technology organization, Deep Sync values individuals who are adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a startup or small-to-midsize technology environment, enjoys broad ownership, and can balance strategic initiatives with hands‑on technical execution.

Direct, hands‑on Hub Spot experience is required. This position will report directly to the VP of Operations and collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams throughout Deep Sync.

  • Advanced proficiency in Hub Spot CRM administration, configuration, workflow automation, reporting, integrations, and system optimization.
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including SQL and PostgreSQL (Postgres) proficiency, and experience developing business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Experience with Grafana, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or a comparable business intelligence and visualization platform.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements and datasets into actionable insights, technical solutions, and operational improvements.
  • Strong understanding of CRM data management, governance, data integrity, and reporting best practices.
  • Understanding of data privacy obligations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and applicable state privacy laws, as they relate to CRM data collection, use, retention, and governance.
  • Ability to develop scalable processes, automate manual workflows, and improve efficiency across business systems.
  • Skilled communicator who can translate technical concepts and analytical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work closely with a variety of teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize competing initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to see the broader business picture while remaining comfortable executing detailed technical work.
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Hub Spot CRM, overseeing system configuration, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Develop and execute CRM strategies aligned with company objectives, operational priorities, and business growth.
  • Design, implement, and optimize Hub Spot workflows, automation, pipelines, reporting, and integrations with other business systems.
  • Reconcile and integrate CRM data with finance and ERP systems (e.g., Sage), ensuring consistent records and reliable cross-functional reporting.
  • Maintain CRM data quality, governance, security, user permissions, and system documentation.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support leadership and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Utilize SQL and business intelligence tools to extract, analyze, transform, and visualize data from Hub Spot and other business systems.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify key performance…
