Canviz Consulting is seeking an experienced project/program manager to fill an immediate opening in Kirkland, WA. The ideal candidate will have an array of experience managing business technology projects with success in managing client expectations.
Responsibilities- Assess business resource requirements, create resourcing plan, secure business resources, and mobilize program team
- Define, maintain, and drive project schedule and corresponding deliverables
- Provide excellent customer service to client
- Facilitate bug triage and track issue cause, resolution and user acceptance seamlessly using bug/issue tracking tools as necessary
- Manage intake process for new requirements. Facilitate planning meetings for early project requirements gathering.
- Manage multiple project responsibilities across teams simultaneously and effectively
- Provide status reports and project schedule, scope, and budget
- Collaborate with project team to develop synergies across project touch points
- Evolve internal project management methodologies and best practices
- Mentor and monitor new program for project management team members
- 5+ years’ experience in project or program management or related field
- A track record of successful program management in complex, multi-function, systems implementations
- Ability to understand and communicate highly technical problems to key stakeholders, delivery partners, and senior leadership both in writing, and verbally
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly and comprehend interdependencies and constraints
- Strong negotiation and consensus building skills
- The ability to establish and mature relationships across multiple teams
- Interpersonal awareness to understand multiple differing perspectives
- The ability to work calmly under pressure
- The ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate risk
- Experience using MS Project to track schedule, dependencies, and resource capacity/allocation
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, i.e., Six Sigma
- Working knowledge of Microsoft’s Services business operations highly desirable
- Project Management Certification(s) a plus
- Prior Microsoft experience a plus
