Integration Technician III – Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

• Integrate and test the LEO satellite and complex subassemblies in a cleanroom and ESD-controlled environment.
• Rig and lift bulky, sensitive hardware using appropriate rigging equipment.
• Use precision calibrated tools—torque wrenches, multimeters, optical inspection devices, micrometers, and calipers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
• Run functional and environmental testing on units.
• Use test software programs for conducting tests.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and document activities, including continuous improvement opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, ensuring an efficient, safe, and effective work environment.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, medical device, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environments.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with FOD, ESD-sensitive hardware, and cleanroom requirements.
• Familiarity with forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment (including certifications).
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, optical, and mechanical systems, antennas, functional testing, and satellite components.
• Ability to use multiple precision measuring instruments.
• Capacity to rapidly shift roles/responsibilities in a high-paced, challenging work environment.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $37.00 per hour. Employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.
