Job Overview
Provides professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols; i.e. provides primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating the nursing roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of the Nursing Process when delivering care.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the health care team to deliver comprehensive patient care, serving in clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination, and leadership capacities. Apply systematic nursing practices guided by the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in both primary and specialty settings.
Required Qualifications- Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinically comparable environment.
- 2 years of Behavioral Health assignments only: in acute or ambulatory Behavioral Health.
- 2 years recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility.
- Recent prior experience in a hospital and outpatient setting.
- Recent prior experience with phone triage.
- 3 years of Behavioral Health assignments only: progressive experience, including medication management.
