BARISTA – Starbucks at Kroger Mountain View Foods

We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Barista to serve Starbucks beverages and ensure an exceptional store experience.

Provide outstanding customer service in a safe, clean environment, upholding Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Serve beverages to Starbucks customers, promote inclusive workplace, and be an active participant in the community.

• Create a welcoming environment and answer questions about products.
• Maintain product knowledge and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with associates to reach store goals.
• Prepare beverages to Starbucks recipe standards and handle transactions.
• Offer product samples and share coffee shop specials.
• Deliver fresh products in correct portion sizes.
• Perform proper equipment use: refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machine, blender, scale, steamer.
• Check product quality and monitor dates.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
• Report ordering or shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Stay updated on current and seasonal promotions.
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report incidents.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Cooperate in a high‑pace, sometimes stressful environment.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and maintain honesty and integrity.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Any previous comparable experience.
