Sales Merchandiser - Full Time - Kirkland, WA

Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr

• Safely operate a deli slicer
• Set up of deli cases and appropriately rotate deli product
• Understand and execute schematics/planograms
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS)
• Be a self-starter, work in a team environment and/or with little or no supervision
• Manage time effectively and productively
• Complete all reports as necessary including store surveys
• Provide coverage to all stores within assigned territory based on store ranking
• Visit stores regularly, document concerns/problems (shortages, equipment problems, ordering issues, etc.), and address them timely
• Build and maintain customer relationships with deli managers, employees, and store customers
• Possess knowledge to create and market Dietz & Watson programs
• Train all new store deli hires on the merits of Dietz & Watson and refresh training when needed
• Communicate information to Merchandiser Manager (e.g., grand openings, store closings)
• Use monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution
• Explore opportunities for sales growth with Merchandiser Manager
• Maintain full displays and a clean, sanitary work environment
• Perform special projects outside of assigned territory

• Flexibility and ability to travel (up to 30% of the time, including flying)
• Must be able to read and write English
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills
• Ability to exercise independent decision-making
• Available to work weekends on occasion
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred; previous deli experience a plus
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license
• Valid Real  Passport for travel
• Ability to pass the company-issued Serv Safe Manager exam

• Full-Time Hourly Position - $22.00 - $25.00 based on experience
• Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit
• Ability to earn 5+ hours of overtime per week
