is responsible for providing air conditioning products and systems from cruise vessels to commercial vessels and offshore drilling platforms to oil tankers. We are looking for a Service Sales Account Manager for our Syracuse, New York, Marine service team.

This position is open to candidates residing in or near Syracuse (NY), Florida, Washington, New Jersey, or California.

• Maintaining a network of end customers.
• Builds long‑term relationship with customers by maintaining active contacts, also in co‑operation with suitable internal and external parties for Project Management and Sales.
• Prepares service contracts for new and existing customers and submit them for approval to the Service Manager and/or Managing Director.
• Signals any complaints and bottlenecks in the contacts and undertakes necessary improvement actions in the control.
• Prepares quotations, both proactive and reactive.
• Performs research on board ships to see if more efficiency can be achieved and provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the customer.

• Follows, detects and analyses relevant market developments, the wishes and needs of (potential or existing) customers and identifies opportunities and capabilities for service product development, solutions or modification of existing ones.
• Translates these sales opportunities to sales promoting activities, creates a strategy that is approved by the management to realize these plans.
• Provides information and negotiates terms and conditions of contract and sales in accordance with internal appointments and close contracts/orders.
• Is responsible for accounting for all projects.
• Implements high level control systems and chiller plant retrofits in close cooperation with Marine’s controls and modernization / retrofit team.
• Periodically evaluates the commercial effects of the plans in the short and long term and formulates proposals to improve the sales activities.
• Regularly visits key accounts and potential accounts.
• Draws up monthly forecasts regarding sales.
