Job Responsibilities
**** Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, powertrains, and related systems on Ford trucks and commercial vehicles
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs, including mechanical, electrical, and drivability systems
* Utilize Ford factory-level diagnostic tools and service software to efficiently resolve issues
* Complete repair orders with precision, documenting all labor, parts, and services accurately
* Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting flat-rate expectations
* Collaborate closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely vehicle delivery
* Recommend additional repairs and preventative maintenance to customers when appropriate
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to dealership safety protocols and manufacturer standards

Make $125,000 to $200,000 annually!

*** Certified Diesel Technician Qualifications
**** Ford Diesel Certification or equivalent required
* Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines, preferably on Ford trucks and commercial vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and powertrain systems
* Proficiency with Ford factory diagnostic tools, service software, and repair procedures
* Experience performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and complex diesel repairs
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment while maintaining quality workmanship
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians
* Corporate requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
