Adaptiva is looking for a passionate and driven Senior Database Developer to join our growing development team. This is a full‑time, exempt position, based at our offices in Kirkland, Washington.

• Develop high‑quality database solutions.
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
• Analyze existing Postgre
  
  SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop new queries and take ownership of Postgre
  
  SQL development.
• Take ownership of Postgre
  
  SQL development for future products and enhancement of existing products.
• Understand complex Postgre
  
  SQL, and design schemas for data storage for future products.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Postgre
  
  SQL development.
• Ability to understand and develop complex Postgre
  
  SQL queries, historical data and schemas.
• Be familiar with at least one high‑level development language (e.g., C#, Java).
• Experience with Git, version control and collaborating with Software Engineer’s to create innovative, enterprise product lines.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $100,000 – $145,000. The range provided is broad and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, location, and other business needs.

The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a performance bonus and generous benefits.
