• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++.
• 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience managing managers and scaling large, high-performing engineering organizations through periods of growth or technical transformation.
• Deep domain expertise in reliability engineering, automated disaster recovery, or cloud security and compliance within regulated environments.
• Proven ability to demonstrate staff-level technical judgment and decision-making for large-scale back-end systems and complex platform architectures.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of partnering with product, operations, and executive stakeholders to drive platform strategy.
