History Teachers – Kirklees & Halifax
Secondary schools in Kirklees and Halifax are looking for qualified History teachers to provide supply teaching to students in years 7‑11.
Responsibilities- Teach History to students in years 7‑11.
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the school culture.
- Qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., Qualified Teacher Status or PGCE).
- Strong passion for humanities, particularly History.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective lessons and support student engagement.
