Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Competitive + Overtime
Shift Pattern: 3‑shift rotation (Mon-Fri) + Occasional voluntary weekends: 06:00-14:00; 14:00-22:00; 22:00-06:00
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections and deliver effective PPM activities
- Respond promptly to time‑critical breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, following permit-to-work, compliance and site safety procedures
- Accurately log activities, faults, and maintenance tasks, ensuring smooth shift handovers
- Collaborate closely with Operations teams and external contractors to resolve issues efficiently.
- Mechanical qualification
- Experience working with pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, steam systems, filling machinery.
- All tools provided
- Comprehensive in‑house training and induction
- Development courses including:
- Food Safety
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Boiler Operator Course
- Confined Space Entry
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt)
