Position: Pipework Inspector (Permanent)
A well-established manufacturing organisation based at its head office in Dewsbury is seeking an experienced Pipework Inspector to join its engineering and integrity team on a permanent basis.

This is a site-based role with no travel required, offering long-term stability within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Salary and Benefits of the Pipework Inspector

Annual Salary Between £40,000 - £45,000
Early finish every Friday (1:30pm)
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

The Role of Pipework Inspector

As a Pipework Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, safety and compliance of pipework systems across the manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities of the Pipework Inspector include:

Inspection and assessment of pipework systems in line with company procedures and industry standards
Supporting and maintaining written schemes of examination (WSEs)
Inspecting new, existing and modified pipework installations
Identifying corrosion, erosion, fatigue and other degradation mechanisms
Producing clear inspection reports with findings and recommendations
Liaising with engineering, maintenance and operations teams
Ensuring compliance with relevant UK legislation and best practice
Maintaining accurate inspection and asset integrity records

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Pipework Inspector within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of pipework integrity and inspection techniques
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics and engineering drawings
Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation (e.g. PSSR)
High attention to detail with a strong safety focus
