Position: Environmental Health Admin & Operations Specialist (Flexible Hours)

Orkney Islands Council is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Operational Support team in Kirkwall. This permanent position involves providing vital administrative support within the Environmental Health Service area, with duties that require strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload under pressure.

The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern. The successful candidate will be involved in regular communication with the public and various team members, making effective communication and interpersonal skills essential for success in this role.

Salary ranges from £30,060 to £30,662, including Distant Islands Allowance.
