Police Scotland is recruiting a Public Enquiry and Support Assistant to support officers, staff, and members of the public at its Kirkwall station.
This role suits someone calm, organised, and people focused who is comfortable working in a public facing environment.
The roleYou will be the first point of contact for members of the public attending or contacting the station.
You will provide practical support to officers and staff to help ensure the smooth running of station operations.
You will manage a range of administrative tasks to support effective service delivery within the community.
You will handle enquiries professionally and accurately, following established procedures at all times.
Working patternThis is a permanent, part time role working 28 hours per week.
Shift patterns include disruption and unsocial hours, which are reflected in additional allowances.

You will receive 28 days annual leave plus 6 public holidays, pro rata.
