An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. In a remote and rural setting you will be part of the team managing a wide range of unscheduled illness and injuries in an unpredictable environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, treat and manage patients presenting to the department.
- Prioritise care based on the severity of their condition.
- Work closely with a small emergency department team to deliver high‑standard care.
- Registered Nurse with post‑registration experience in acute care.
- Reliable, resilient, and passionate about providing a high standard of care.
- Must be resident of the UK and able to live in Orkney.
Location: The Balfour
Working pattern: Full Time – 37 hours per week
Contract duration: Permanent
Benefits and SalarySalary: Band 5
Residing on Orkney qualifies for a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,654 pro rata per annum.
