Full-time and Part-time positions available
£14.22 – 14.92 per hour
(£27,362 - £28,709 pro rata, inclusive of £3,120 island allowance)
£100.80 per sleepover

Our Orkney team is dedicated to empowering autistic people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives since 2013. Currently supporting 8 autistic people in Kirkwall, we support people to engage in the activities they love and to be a valued part of the community.

As an Autism Practitioner, you will work across Housing Support & Outreach services to:
 
* Develop personalised support plans and build positive relationships.
 
* Support individuals in making choices, exploring interests, and to live independently.
 
* Partner with families and healthcare professionals to focus on each individual’s goals.
Some activities the people we support enjoy:
 
* Swimming,
 
* Visiting the lifestyle centre,
 
* Going out for meals and to local coffee shops,
 
* Long, scenic walks,
 
* Attending seasonal events.
