NHS Orkney is seeking a Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Laboratory Service. You will work across haematology, transfusion medicine and biochemistry, rotating through all laboratory areas, handling specimen reception, validating results and maintaining equipment.
The role involves independent decision-making within competence, strong patient confidentiality, and contributing to service continuity. Evening/weekend rota participation is required after training.
