TAX MANAGER - KIRKWOOD,    MISSOURI    UPTO 130,000 USD P / ANNUM & BENEFITS - TOP CLIENT - URGENT!!

The firm offers tax services, outsourced accounting, payroll and CFO support, financial statement preparation, reporting, and business advisory services. With a focus on personalized client service, financial expertise, and practical business insights, the organization helps clients make informed financial decisions and navigate an evolving business environment.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing client assignments and projects while delivering high-quality tax services. This position requires strong technical tax knowledge, leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and strong client relationship skills.
The Manager will work closely with partners, clients, and tax/accounting professionals to ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
Review tax returns for:
Partnership
Gift Tax
Private Foundations
Prepare and review year-end tax projections.
Analyze tax planning strategies and present recommendations to clients.
Research and support tax return positions.
Research and develop tax planning strategies.
Manage staff assignments, training, coaching, and development.
Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and resources.
Track project schedules and due dates.
Serve as a bridge between clients, staff, and partners.
Develop and improve processes and procedures to maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Ensure projects and tax returns are accurate, complete, well-documented, and client-ready before partner review.
Maintain organized files, project records, notes, and task tracking.
Lead by example and help staff prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Anticipate project issues, evaluate alternatives, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Strong technical tax knowledge and skills
Project management capabilities
Team leadership and coaching skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong technical tax experience.
Experience reviewing multiple types of tax returns.
Strong tax research, planning, and projection experience.
Experience training and developing staff.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Key Performance Indicators
Paid Holidays:  New Year’s Day, April 16th, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Strong public accounting/tax background
Tax Manager or similar supervisory/management experience
Strong tax return review experience
Corporate, partnership, individual, trust & estate, gift tax, and/or private foundation experience
Tax planning and projection experience
Proven staff leadership, coaching, and development experience
