Design Cabinet Coordinator

Reports To: Design Manager

Job Purpose: To support the success of MBA Designers by managing the logistics, procurement, and scheduling of products to ensure custom cabinetry projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Support designers in developing cabinet layouts, revisions, and product selection
• Review cabinet plans for constructability, measurements, and site-specific constraints
• Prepare cabinet quotes on designs
• Prepare and submit cabinet orders once designs are completed
• Coordinate cabinetry details with Project Managers and field employees to align with existing conditions
• Coordinate with vendors on damages, shortages, warranty issues and replacements
• Assist with maintenance of Cabinet samples
• Participate in trade shows, seminars, & other events as requested

• 2 years experience in residential remodeling, cabinetry coordination, interior design support, or construction administration
• College degree in Interior Design or Architectural Drafting preferred
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus)
• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and voeg to manage several projects at a time
• Capability to perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
• Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Physically able to walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, sit and stand for long periods of time, and move up to 70 lbs independently
