Montessori Teacher's Assistant

Green Tree Montessori is a small school with a tight knit community located on a beautiful wooded lot in Kirkwood, Missouri. We are a team of professional educators who strive to give the very best to the children at our school. Our school serves children from the ages of 6 months through Kindergarten. As an assistant preschool teacher at Green Tree Montessori School, you will encourage fun and exploration in our beautiful indoor/ outdoor setting.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Montessori Teacher's Assistant to join our team at Green Tree Montessori. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and a commitment to providing a high-quality, Montessori-based educational environment.

• Assisting the lead Montessori teacher in implementing the Montessori curriculum.
• Preparing and maintaining a clean, orderly, and attractive Montessori environment.
• Meeting the individual's needs of the children with care and compassion
• Leading a small group of children in different activities
• Interacting affectionately and respectfully with children
• Guiding children in self-directed, meaningful activities.
• Communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.
• Experience in a Montessori environment or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Patience, flexibility, and a love for children.
