Pay Range

This range is provided by Prime Healthcare Management. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay Range

St. Louis, MO: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activity programs that meet the physical, emotional, social, and recreational needs of residents.
  • Observe and record resident attendance, participation level, mood, behavior, and overall engagement during activities.
  • Note, report, and chart resident behavior and progress according to facility procedures.
  • Communicate with residents and family members to understand interests, preferences, and goals for activity planning.
  • Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs under the supervision of the Activity Director.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments as needed to ensure smooth scheduling and participation.
  • Encourage residents to join activities, games, crafts, and social events.
  • Build supportive relationships with residents to promote self-esteem, engagement, and well‑being.
  • Prepare activity rooms and areas for scheduled programs.
  • Clean up and restore activity areas once programs are completed.
  • Move, arrange, and organize equipment and supplies to ensure areas are ready for use.
  • Assist with decorating and setting up materials for residents.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in activities preferred.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist with helping residents back to their rooms.
  • Compassionate, patient, and able to create a positive environment for residents.
