A Typical Day...
As a Team Leader, you will lead a customer-centric team of associates, manage a single H&R Block tax office, and drive business growth.
You will develop staff, ensure excellent client service, and meet office goals. We will support your professional growth as you become a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products.
Preferred Qualifications...
- Experience managing multiple units in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries
- 2+ years as a Tax Professional
Responsibilities include...
- Partner with the District General Manager on growth plans, local partnerships, and community involvement
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and managing staff
- Handle escalated client service issues
- Ensure timely and quality work from staff
- Train, coach, and motivate team members
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve employee issues
- Prepare tax returns as needed
Required Skills and Experience...
- Customer service or shift leadership experience
- People management skills
- Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
- Continuing education compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- High school diploma or higher
