Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until December 15th or until the positions are filled (whichever is first).

- Perform, document and help ensure compliance with daily and periodic inspections to meet all applicable regulations.
- Maintain resort facilities from a cleanliness standpoint, working with a team or independently.
- Daily upkeep of associated facilities, tools & equipment.
- Daily inspections of facilities and vehicles.
- Proactively communicate maintenance needs to ensure timely ordering of parts and equipment.
- Engage with guests and staff while exhibiting Vail Resorts Core Values.
- Assist with operation of activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able and willing to work 1st and 2nd shifts.
- Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Basic education preferred.
- Previous experience preferred, but not required.
- Able and willing to ride chairlifts.
- Strong communication skills and proactive problem solving.
- Teamwork and ability to collaborate with activities leadership and other staff.
- Organizational skills to prioritize daily work and maximize productivity.
- Strong trouble‑shooting skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of chemical usage as directed.
- Visual acuity for inspection tasks.
Role may involve work across multiple departments including Mountain Activities, Retail Rental operations, Food and Beverage Support, Ticket sales, Lift Operations, and Base Area Operations.
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr.
