As an Accounting Specialist, you'll oversee finances for multiple associations and work with Board Members, Property Managers, and homeowners. You'll handle fund accounting, reporting, budgeting, assessments, and audit support—blending accounting expertise with client service.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist- Maintain accurate general ledger records for assigned homeowners' associations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices and homeowner assessments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, reserve accounts, and investment statements.
- Manage homeowner billing, collections, late fees, payment plans, and special assessments.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with annual budgets, reserve studies, forecasting, audits, reviews, and tax filing support.
- Respond professionally to financial inquiries from Board Members, homeowners, and Property Managers.
- Maintain accurate records within HOA accounting systems and document management platforms.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience; HOA or property management accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills; pivot tables, vlookups.
