Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

Join Southern Home Services as a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher. Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses across the United States. This role is integral to our growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer requests and inquiries professionally and friendly.
  • Act as liaison between customers, technicians, salespersons, and management.
  • Schedule service and routine maintenance appointments.
  • Maintain and update customer records based on interactions.
  • Process invoice payments.
  • Provide information about products and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services that benefit customers.
  • Participate in in‑house training on products, services, and office software needed for this position.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one-year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
  • Ability to cultivate strong rapport with customers and co‑workers.
  • Enjoys organizing, prioritizing, and managing time effectively to see tasks through to completion.
  • Can work independently and with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment.
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Work while sitting and/or standing at an individual workstation or office.
  • Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device.
  • Stands, walks, and sits; talks and hears, both in person and by telephone.
  • Uses hands to type, handle, or feel objects or controls; reaches with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally stoops, kneels, bends, crouches, and lifts up to 10 pounds.
  • Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.
