Creation Village World School is seeking an experienced and passionate IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Career-related Programme (CP) Science Instructor to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction in science, emphasizing hands‑on exploration, inquiry‑based learning, and fostering a deep appreciation for the scientific method.

• Report to the Dean of the Career‑Programme (CP) and manage daily functions of Sciences for 9th through 11th grade.
• Model the core values of CVWS in the classroom and school.
• Demonstrate and live CREATION Life, guiding students as they develop each principle of Christ‑centered living.
• Develop students through the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and mission daily.
• Integrate the UN SDGs and RULER into instruction.
• Design and deliver engaging IB MYP and CP Science lessons that align with IB philosophy, objectives, and curriculum frameworks.
• Implement hands‑on, experiential learning opportunities that encourage students to explore scientific concepts through inquiry and experimentation.
• Differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs, ensuring access to rigorous learning.
• Develop assessments that align with IB criteria, provide meaningful feedback, and support student growth in scientific inquiry.
• Promote critical thinking, problem‑solving, and collaboration.
• Facilitate student‑led projects and experiments encouraging curiosity and real‑world application.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and support whole‑school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and expectations.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with IB best practices in science instruction.
• Integrate with CVWS's classroom management, instruction, and routines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate room.
• Meet with the Dean of the CP to discuss each student’s progress and needs, determining priorities and suggesting ways to promote learning and development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• IB MYP teaching certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in an IB setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy, curriculum framework, and assessment strategies.
• Experience differentiating instruction and implementing inquiry‑based learning strategies.
• Passion for hands‑on science exploration and experiential learning.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Creation Village World School.
• Physical ability to hear, see, speak, lift up to 50 lbs, and move freely as needed to perform job duties.
