Ultrasound Technologist PRN
We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital for high‑volume after‑hours coverage in our Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Job SummaryProvides care for patients undergoing Ultrasound procedures and performs all duties directly involved with Ultrasound diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating equipment, establishing technical factors, and relaying images and clinical information to the interpreting physician.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Ultrasound examinations and produce diagnostic quality images.
- Set technical parameters to meet radiology practice standards.
- Document findings, relay images, and provide pertinent clinical information.
- Assist with inventory management and patient scheduling.
- Serve on‑call for after‑hours high‑volume coverage as assigned.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start.
- Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent education.
- Registered with ARDMS in physics and one other registry, or ARRT (S) Sonography.
- ARDMS RVT or ARRT (VS) Vascular Sonography required within one year.
