• Uses positive pressure ventilation devices, suctions the upper airway, and provides supplemental oxygen therapy.
• Obtains patient history, vital signs, performs 12‑lead EKGs, and monitors/interprets cardiac telemetry.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines, uses PPE appropriately, performs hand hygiene, and maintains aseptic technique.
• Produces accurate and prompt medical records, ensuring authenticity and security, and follows the process for amending documents.
• Assists with pre‑procedural prep, transports patients pre and post‑procedure, including those with sheaths or under sedation.
• Assists the Emergency Department Registered Nurse with transporting STEMI patients to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

• Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support Cert (BLS)
• Critical Care Paramedic – Certified (CCP‑C) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
