Activities Manager - Margaritaville Orlando

NDM Hospitality is a family-owned hospitality business that started in F&B and is now expanding into vacation rentals. JOB SUMMARY: The Activities Manager is responsible for all activities and entertainment and engagement operations for their resort they are assigned to. Duties include staffing and managing staff, ensuring that resort activities are being hosted and engagement of team members. Develop and maintain positive relationships with all department heads, employees, and vendors as well. Focus on employee development, growth, and retention.

Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and employee satisfaction scores.

Must have full flexible availability (Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Activity Teams at assigned property.
  • Assist in creating revenue and budget generating opportunities amongst the resorts.
  • Maintain a cruise/theme park experience for guests to be a part of when they visit.
  • Establish engagement amongst departments within the different properties.
  • Mentor and develop team members for continued success within the company and expand their potential.

This role requires the ability to move and lift to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.

Requirements:

  • 3 year(s):
    Experience in a social or recreational program
  • Experience in recreational hospitality, Cruise Ships, Summer Camps and or DJ
  • High School Diploma or better
  • Must attain First Aid / CPR license within 3 months of employment.
  • Experience with hosting activities and running AV equipment
  • Microsoft Office experience

PREFERRED Competencies &

Qualifications:

  • College degree or
  • 5 year(s):
    Experience in recreational programs and resort operations

Ability to move quickly and adjust strategies based on trends.
